As a true eco green design build firm and contractor, Design Build Construction Corporation is proud to say that our licensed architects are heavily involved in not only the design, construction drawings, and permits, but they are also involved in the build-outs of the projects, along with our project managers. As an owner, this saves a lot of time and frustration dealing with an architect and a builder separately. In many cases on a construction project there has to be a change made. This would require a sketch to be produced, sealed by the architect and brought down to the building department in order to move forward. Since our licensed architects are readily available this could be accomplished quickly so no time is lost and the construction schedule moves forward smoothly. With this in mind, we create a true team effort between the architect, builder and owner, with the team goal of bringing your project in on time and within budget. In many cases hiring an architect separately could cause a serious conflict since the general contractor has no relationship with the architect, which may cause many differences of opinion resulting in a loss of time, change orders and increased project costs.
Interior design, architectural moldings, custom millwork and cabinetry, granite, marble and stone work, and specialty flooring, and other finishings are just some of the details that we pay strong attention to during the design process. In addition, it is very important that we keep the drawings within your budget. As we go through the design process, we will advise you how best to maximize your building dollars, so that the project does not go over budget.
